Whitby

Today is Andrew’s actual birthday, he has quite a haul of presents! We have a huge birthday breakfast with him, say our goodbyes and are off to Whitby. Great to see him again, must try and make it more often!!! Whitby is beautiful in the sun today but very busy not surprisingly. We have a lovely Airbnb under the cliffs next to the stairs up to the Abbey. No parking nearby but we knew that so all ok!! We had a look around town and then went for dinner at the Magpie, our favourite Whitby restaurant, and it didn’t disappoint! We watched the two rowing clubs going out to practice, 9 boats altogether, with 5 to a boat. They were all pretty good, maybe I can be that good one day!!
