What a garden!!

We went back to Lewes in the morning to pick up a few things that we had forgotten. The garden looked so good, I can’t believe we have only been gone a few weeks, all the flowers have come out. The house also looks great, can’t wait to come home to it in a month! Phoebe and Raff are lovely, so glad we have someone we trust to leave the cats and house with.

Back to Worthing and lunch at the CrabShack with Charlotte, Elliott and James. We came across this coffee shop, Sicily we both shouted!! It was a bit of a cloudy day but always good to walk in their and the food at the CrabShack was great as always.

We went back and packed and repacked our bags several times. This time it’s really important to keep the weight in the backpack down. Although we plan to use the backpack delivery service we won’t be able to use it every day, so we must be able to walk a good 18km with the pack!!

While I am looking forward to setting off tomorrow I am also sad to be going and leaving everyone behind again. When we did it in Wokingham we lived quite far away from the children and Covid had only just finished so we weren’t seeing them so often. Now we see them every week and I really miss that.
