Walks in Wokingham

We continued today with our daily walks! Over to California Park and then back on the Barkham Way to Wokingham over 14km. We always stop at this church - Saint James Barkham for a cup of tea and to admire the peace and quiet in the graveyard. Its a wonderful place. We did see 2 deer on the way there - they looked like Roe deer but difficult to tell from the distance - time for some new binoculars!

The Hengistbury Head council are holding a virtual wildlife conservation placement for 40 people in December - it sounds like a fantastic opportunity they have some great speakers lined up. I looked at the application form and it is effectively a 5 minute video! Out of my comfort zone really but I have decided to do it - I suspect they will get a lot of applications - but it will be good practice making the video and Chris has said he will help me.
