Walk 2

Sunday 16th February 2025

Today we killed two birds with one stone and walked to Hassocks! Tom and Laura are away so they asked us to feed the cats. It was another 21km walk starting at Landport Bottom like yesterday but heading in a different direction. It was a really nice walk and I would do it again. We reached the Half Moon pub in Plumpton at 10am just as they opened and had a lovely coffee there (about half way). About 18km today for the walk and it was muddy in places but didnt feel as bad as yesterday. Afterwards we took the train to Brighton and did a bit of shopping for our holiday (Decathlon and Waterstones!). Then stopped in the pub near the station and I remembered that they had Gueze beer - my favourite so I was very happy.
