The sun came out!

We went over to Tom and Laura's today. Chris had a wonderful time with Libby and Freya - he is the uncle that you want! Unfortunately Charlotte and Elliott couldn't make it as Elliott had an emergency dentist appointment at the hospital - sounds terrible, hope he gets better soon! We brought some food over including this hedgehog bread - pesto and cheese - it was amazing - we will definitely make it again! The sun was out for once so we sat outside (did a little light weeding, but much more needed over the next few weeks) and had a lovely afternoon. Later on I saw this beautiful pansy/viola in a crack in some steps surrounded by concrete. It really caught my eye - a standout beauty amongst the grey.
