Patina Parade

I should have said that we voted yesterday and today we have a new Lib Dem MP in Lewes and a new Labour government - I am hopeful that they will make positive changes so lets keep our fingers crossed and with them well! We went to see Charlotte ad Elliott this morning (1 day until due date) for a coffee and to say hello - all Ok and no baby in sight! We wanted to get back to Lewes before 1230 becuase today is the school passing out parade (Patina) in Lewes. All the Year 6s from the Lewes District schools dress up and parade thought town (and the roads are shut!). Slight miscalculation it is also the start of the Love Supreme festival so the roads were absolutely jammed - we just squeaked into Morris Road as the barriers were being put up. But actually it worked out fine as we discovered they actual circle around at the end of Morris Road anyway so we had a great view. The theme was food - we liked the biscuits best but they were all great! The house continues - slowly!!! It feels like forever and tempers are starting to fray!!
