Newhaven

We are planning on a pop up energy advice shop in November in Newhaven so today I went over to take a look around. We went to the Hillcrest Community Centre - an old primary school that still had the childrens toilets in place! I discovered that a wood working group that had been approached by the Mens Shed was there so went to take a look around so that I could report back to Robin. It was amazing!! They have all the old benches from when it was a school (you can see that they have raised the legs to make them suitable for adults!) and it was mostly full - they run about 4 times a week so that in itself was amazing. A wonderful place and probably if Robin had found it last year he wouldnt have worried about the Mens shed! Later on mum arrived to stay for a few days. We went out to Dill in the evening with Chris and had a lovely dinner - I can still highly recommend it - the menu changes all the time. Not everything is perfect but it is all interesting!
