Miserden Estate
Friday 8th October 2021
One of our assignments this year is to manage a group of year 1 students in doing a conservation task. So today we went over tot he Miserden Estate Miserden | A forward thinking estate with traditional values. to take a look at what they are doing there and also how we would manage a group of year 1s! In the 1930s 40% of the Cotswolds was limestone grassland - now it is down to 2%. Miserden have some of it and are working on conserving and enlarging it. Some of it is in good condition - some of it looks like bracken!
Later in the afternoon I went into London to meet up with Anne and Madi in Camden. We had a lovely evening drinking Brazilian cocktails and then had a vegetarian meal at Mildreds Camden. Lovely food!
