Living Planet Report

WWF and London Zoo publish The Living Planet Report every two years - the last one was for 2020. Its an indicator of the state of global biological diversity based on trends in populations of vertebrates. As you can imagine it is not positive report. It also has a calculator so that you can see how big your own environmental footprint. Mine wasnt too bad - no air travel and little use of the car makes a big difference! I encourage you to do it - it is really interesting and shows the levers that we have as individuals to contribute to increasing biodiversity and wildlife conservation. WWF Footprint Calculator

So what are the pictures for? Reducing our food waste means that I end up looking up things like - what can I make with lemons and cream - answer lemon mousse (which was very tasty!). What can I make with condensed milk and cream - answer banoffee pie - absolutely delicious but we all feel a bit queasy now! Buy less in the first place is the answer or we will all be getting fatter!
