Leamington Spa

Saturday 1st March 2025

Set off early for Stratford to meet up with Anne. We had a lovely wonder round the shops and bought all the grandchildren an appropriate tee shirt from the Royal Shakespeare Company! Back in Leamington we went round to Lockwoods (a fantastic outdoor shop) for Robin to by new shoes for our walk. While he was doing that I stocked up on other things, wash stuff map holder, socks etc etc!! Then we popped round to Madi's flat to take a look - it is lovely but in an old house with single glazing and electric heating - pretty chilly apparently!! Lastly we went to the local museum to see an exhibition of quilts. They were amazing - I particularly like this one of Zephaniah Benjamin - it looks joyous! Then back home for dinner and a chat!! (we liked this light fixture, and might copy it for outside our house!).
