Last night in the van!

A night in the top of the van was interesting. I am not claustrophobic but it was very small, dark and cold. Every time I turned over I had to rearrange the blanket, and at one point I worried about running out of oxygen!! Its probably Ok in warmer weather but not really a good option for cold weather camping!! We drove back to Lewes this morning to pick up Chris and go over to see Tom, Laura and the girls (wanted to show the van to everyone!). Chris had a trial shift in the kitchen of a pub in Brighton last night, they must have liked him as he got the job - starts on Tuesday! We drove over to Hassocks to find Tom mowing the lawn, its the first cut of the season - partly because its been so wet and partly because his lawnmower only just arrived! The lawn looks much better, O also love that they have their own little bluebell wood at the end of the garden! We are staying at Stoneywish Nature Reserve which has a small farm and playground. We all went in and it was great - much better than we thought it would be. The it was a short walk across the field to The Bull in Ditchling for a great roast dinner. The service did leave a lot to be desired though - I dont think that I would go back. Great to see everyone as ever! Last night in the van tonight, we need to be up early to look after Freya and return it.
