Holt Copse

Today was the volunteer fair at the town hall and the Holt Copse Conservation Volunteers had a stand. I joined about a year ago just as I was starting university. Due to Covid we havent had that many work parties but I have really enjoyed the days I have been able to help them. So when I was asked to man the stand at the fair of course I said yes.

The stand looked great and we had so many people come up to see what we did. I must have signed up about 10 people in the first hour - much more than I was expecting. Obviously they wont all turn up but I do think there were a few that we might see again! It was a great success. Work parties start again on 9th October - looking forward to it!

Today was the great petrol shortage day - so we didn't get over to mums as I couldn't guarantee getting back! Will have to look for petrol tomorrow
