Doing my online work ready for lectures next week. We are in the lab extracting DNA on Tuesday - then the week after we will do something with it! I watched a couple of online lectures on DNA, genes, extraction and testing today. I am not much wiser - so many words that I don't understand and so complicated!! I did feel the same about the soil lectures so hoping that it will all become clearer over the next few weeks.

I am in Brighton next weekend for Chris's birthday and to babysit Libby! I realised today that the famous starling murmurations over Brighton pier might have started - its nearly the right time of year. Very excited about that - I hope I see them.
