FarmED

Ros and I had a great meeting at FarmED today. FarmEd has been set up to showcase regenerative farming and educate not only farmers but everyone about the importance of soil health for nature recovery. They have an amazing set up and were very interested in what we want to do around education. They are very close to the Evenlode and some of the farm is on a slope and incredibly wet - they have put in place a series of leaky dams and put the stream back to its original winding state - so instead of the the water rushing down the slope into the river taking all the soil with it there is an amazing area of rushes and a lovely pond. Pond dipping here we come!!

I got back to Cirencester in time for Christmas lunch with some of the students before we all leave for Christmas which was lovely. I cant believe the first semester is nearly over! But I have plenty of assignments to do over the holiday!
