Everyone's ill!

Laura and Libby are ill, Freya has recovered and Tom is working - so we are on Freya duty today! We went over to pick her up and then had a lovely morning at home. We had the plumber round to discuss the new radiators - we had a few disagreements- but eventually we both compromised and they will be duly ordered! I think we keep the house at a fairly low temperature (also its actually quite a warm house as it is mid terrace) so he seemed baffled when I said that I rarely switch on the radiator in the bedroom!

After that we took Freya for a walk over to Southover Grange, the gardens are beautiful there and the ice cream very tasty! Our new pushchair is working well and she fell fast asleep. We walked back up Keere Street - the steepest in Lewes - possibly a mistake! It was lovely to have her round for the day and good that Chris could spend some time with her as well. After we dropped her off Chris drove us back in the car. He has been driving for a year in New Zealand so he is perfectly capable, but a big van on New Zealand roads is different from a small automatic car in the UK! All good though!
