Catching up

Its been a busy few days at work this week. Mainly thinking about what we would do differently next year when we run the event again. But its in the past now and I need to move on to our next big event - Eco Open Houses in September! This is a picture of the blinds in the bedroom - they are really lovely and patter matched at the corners which I find amazing! We are not getting anywhere with finding someone to remove the contaminated soil from the garden so I took Robin along to look at what they have done at the House of Friendship - I think they look really nice - we may use these instead of bricks and then wont have to have the soil removed! Lots of sorting stuff out today as I an really behind with house things then over to Newick with Sue Fleming to meet up with the organiser of the Newick Food fair at the end of June. We got there at the meeting place at 430 and she had forgotten! She was half an hour away so we decided to wait and got an icecream from the shop and sat on the green in the sun having a chat - what a lovely afternoon. The organiser did eventually turn up and we sorted everything out for the fair!! I asked where the parking was - oh its in a field behind the big house on the green, everyone then walks through the garden of the house to get to the fair - I thought that was really lovely!
