Busy day

Sunday 14th July 2024

A very exciting day today. I am trying out Gig rowing with the Lewes club to see if I will join and today is my first row. They row from Newhaven Marina (which is only 20 mins drive away). Today it was beautiful weather, blue sky and a calm sea and they were so nice to me - I really enjoyed it and will go again. I get three rows before I need to join. In the afternoon Robin and I took a picnic up to Lewes Castle to watch Much ado about Nothing in the castle grounds. They were so good - we had an amazing time! That is the end of our three weeks of culture and they were all good! Later in the evening we watched England play in the final - a disappointing game but the best team did win so we cant really complain!! Charlotte, Elliott and baby James are all well but did have to go back into hospital for a bit as James has jaundice - nothing bad he just need to be under the lamp for a few days.
