Bug hotel
Friday 16th July 2021
Dorothy has a tutorial today at West Dean West Dean College of Arts and Conservation where she is taking a course. She only had her operation a week ago so I drove her over there - lovely sunny day for it. While she went to see the tutor I went into the gardens. They are beautiful especially the walled garden. I found this enormous bug hotel, it is about 5 foot tall and looked absolutely amazing. It does show what you can do with some chicken wire and random left overs from the garden and house.
After about 20 minutes Dorothy called - the tutorial was off as the instructor had been pinged by the Covid app that morning. It was very disappointing for her - this is the fourth one that she has missed due to Covid. Reading the news there are hundreds of thousands of people being pinged - it will bring some industries to a stand still soon!
