Boys from the Black Stuff

Today we went into London! We were goin tot he theatre but managed to fit in a few things beforehand. Firstly to the Sir John Soane Museum. He left it to the country when he dies in 1837 with the proviso that everything remains the same - it is the most amazing museum (he was a great architect of his day). We were really impressed and will go back to take a tour sometime in the future. Then we walked over to Covent Garden to go to a few shops (particularly Stanfords as we always love it there!). In one of the shops I saw this Mah-jong set - for anyone that wants to know I would really like this for my Christmas!! On to J Sheekeys for some lovely fish then over to the theatre. As we got closer to the centre of London we could see that something was going on - finally clicked it was London Pride! There were thousands of people, all dressed up - they all looked amazing - particularly the husky with pride coloured tail!! The play itself was great - we really enjoyed it, but couldnt really remember the series on TV so we decided that we would watch it as some time. I would highly recommend it, most of the audience was our age so it was difficult to tell - had we all come because we had seen the series on TV in the 1980s? Maybe so but it was still great!
