Back to Cirencester for a days work with Ed.

We went to a few locations moving around equipment and PPE from courses that had finished to courses about to start. Its a great opportunity to chat with the people whose land we are using. Nick Bumford from Guiting Powers farm The Team - Guiting Manor Farms Ltd talked to us about the farm machinery that he has (brought up because we were discussing Jeremy Clarksons show!) - it is harvest time and the weather has not been very helpful so far - but Nick has an enormous grain dryer that he was using to dry the barley that was coming in - I didn't know you could do that! He runs the farm with conservation in mind (although at the end of the day he needs to make money!) so he is always happy to allow courses to be run on his land.

It was a lovely day so Eda and I went back to the Old Prison(pictured) for a chat and some lunch and to look at a large amount of alpaca wool that had been shorn off a herd recently! So much wool!!
